The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot including angels, demons, and dark forces increasing in power within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the primary party to begin their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the influential clan could enable the party reach places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them few options but to travel to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Seekers and Planners groups.

Audiences can anticipate learning which characters will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
